Job Description

Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team of General Medicine providers who are making a difference in the lives of Veterans. This opportunity allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations including The Dalles Brookings and Tillamook in Oregon. Our practice focuses on serving those who have served our country and we are looking for compassionate professionals to join our mission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
  • Primarily perform interviews with patients alongside necessary physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Complete all required documentation and reporting including addendums and medical opinions.
  • Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain an active office space for conducting examinations.
  • Be available for work on a PRN basis with flexibility to accommodate days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in METs testing evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Possession of a laptop (Windows-based; no Mac/Apple products).
  • Current AANP certification.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
  • Experience in family medicine internal medicine orthopedic surgery or general medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Must hold an active medical license in the state of practice.
  • DMA certification required upon completion of training.
