Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum - General Medicine Physician in Washington
Join a dedicated team at Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) a Maximus company focused on providing vital healthcare support to our nations Veterans. We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexible hours primarily interview-based assessments and the opportunity to work in various locations across Washington including Oak Harbor and your own private office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete documentation and reporting of findings accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Remain flexible to work half-day or full-day shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in family medicine internal medicine orthopedic surgery or general medicine.
- Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is preferred.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
- Must possess a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
- AANP certification is required.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
