Locum Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care in Williston ND
Summary: Join a dynamic team at a Walk-In Clinic located in Williston North Dakota. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams within established protocol.
- Diagnose and treat patients according to protocol guidelines.
- Order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Prescribe or recommend medications and treatments as appropriate.
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling.
- Perform minor procedures as necessary including sensitive examinations.
- Complete documentation within 24 hours.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Consult with colleagues regarding patient symptoms and treatment plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
- ND Active license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) Required
- Completion of residency requirements/fellowship Required
- BLS and DEA certifications Required
- Clean malpractice history Required
- Availability at the time of name clearance Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active North Dakota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification
