Locum NP/PA - Emergency Medicine in Bath NY
Join a dynamic team as a locum Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at a well-respected facility in Bath New York overseeing the observation unit at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. This facility features a rural Emergency Department that provides necessary care to the community with an average of 26 patients per day. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Observation unit with 2-3 patients at a time.
- Provide immediate coverage with flexible 12-hour shifts (day and night).
- Engage in assisting in the Emergency Room under the supervision of the ED physician when not rounding in the Observation unit.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records.
- Manage a patient census of approximately 9500 annually.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (required).
- Active New York State license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
- NY DEA certification (required).
- Candidates must be available to work in blocks (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold a valid New York State license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Board Certification is required for application.
