Job Title: Locum NP/PA - Emergency Medicine
Facility and Practice Overview
Join a dedicated team at a Level 4 trauma center in Williston North Dakota. This cutting-edge facility is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support its Emergency Department. The locum position offers a unique opportunity to provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team. The locum will start as soon as credentialed with shifts scheduled three days a week for 12 hours each from April through June while a permanent provider is being hired.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide standard emergency care to patients presenting at the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with medical staff including one MD and additional APPs during 12-hour shifts (10 AM to 10 PM).
- Rotate through weekends and holiday shifts as required.
- Manage an average patient load of 45 daily ensuring high-quality service in a supportive environment.
- Participate in the recruitment process for a permanent provider.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in relevant field (required).
- Active North Dakota License (required).
- Current DEA registration (required).
- Must hold ACLS BLS TNCC and PALS certifications (required).
- Preferred: Clean malpractice and background history.
- Availability at time of credentialing (required).
License and Certification Requirements
