Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum NP/PA in Occupational Health
Join a well-established occupational health practice located in Springfield Ohio. This clinic is dedicated to providing quality care to adult patients in a supportive environment. With a focus on occupational health the facility offers a steady weekday schedule with no calls or weekends making it an ideal setting for work-life balance. The clinic is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to fill coverage in August 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide autonomous care to adult patients within an occupational health setting
- Conduct evaluations physical exams and provide treatment plans
- Perform required procedures such as sutures and workers compensation evaluations
- Utilize the Systoc documentation system for efficient patient management
- Collaborate with a supervising physician who is onsite every other Thursday and available via phone or Zoom
- Manage an average patient load of 16-18 patients per day
Qualifications:
- Board Certified REQUIRED
- Active Ohio license and DEA REQUIRED
- Workers compensation and DOT certifications HIGHLY Preferred
- Local candidates HIGHLY Preferred
- Willingness to accept new graduates
- Able to accommodate the specified schedule cadence
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Ohio medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Board Certification in relevant specialty
