Job Description
Job Title: Locum - NP/PA - Emergency Medicine
Summary:
Join a dedicated team at a critical access hospital located in the heart of Garrison North Dakota. This facility offers 24/7 emergency care and a range of outpatient services including physical therapy radiology and cardiac rehabilitation. As a locum NP/PA you will provide weekend coverage in the Emergency Department managing an average of 7-8 patients per day with additional rounds in the hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the Emergency Department and hospital.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 5 patients to round on per day.
- Perform evaluations and treatments for common cases including abdominal pain chest pain URIs and musculoskeletal issues.
- Coordinate with support staff including RNs techs and other medical professionals.
- Participate in unrestricted call/call back as needed.
- Utilize EMR (Epic) for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible; APP meeting eligibility requirements preferred.
- Current State License or IMLC required.
- ACLS ATLS BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Availability at the time of name clearance required.
