Job Description
Join Our Nocturnist Team in Troy NY!
St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates
Job Responsibilities:
- Join an established hospital medicine program in a physician-friendly environment.
- Manage an average daily census of 15-18 patients per physician.
- Participate in closed ICU care; ICU providers will handle the ICU.
- Run rapid responses and codes as part of your responsibilities.
- Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 7 on/7 off schedule.
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in patient care.
- Welcome new and upcoming 2025 grads seeking board certification as well as experienced candidates.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waivers are not accepted.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility working toward BC) or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Current New York State License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history; highly preferred.
- Visa support may be required for J-1 or H-1B candidates.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- New York Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
