Job Description
Job Opportunity: Physician - Hospitalist - OB

The hospital offers a collaborative environment where you will work alongside an established team and community health partners ensuring comprehensive inpatient care. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving practice with support from midwives and community clinics delivering up to 80 births monthly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting.
- Deliver collaborative care alongside community health partners and midwives.
- Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly within a supportive environment.
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery OB/GYN triage and ER calls as needed.
- Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients.
- Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients.
- Participate in a collaborative care model to enhance patient safety and community health.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia NICU and midwives.
- Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
- Iowa medical license or willing to obtain (REQUIRED).
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Must be open to H1B and J1 visa support for full-time positions.
- Not accepting locum or visa candidates.
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold Board Certification in OB/GYN.
- IA medical license (or willingness to obtain).
