Sanitation Peak Season 3rd Shift
Job Summary:
Indiana Packers is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team to fulfill our Sanitation Peak Season 3rd Shift positions. As a Sanitation team member you will clean and scour equipment to comply with all food safety requirements.
This factory position is needed for 8 to 10 hours a day including some Saturdays. Third shift hours are from 10:00pm - 7:00am.
Responsibilities:
- Cover motors electrical plugs and all computer equipment
- Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
- Scour equipment with chemical as needed
- Cleaning of pipes walls refrigeration units etc.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Comply with all safety food safety GMP and SQF requirements
Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to work from August 2025 - February 2026.
- Ability to work in a cold humid fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
- Must be able to grip with wrist
- Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee will be exposed to cold temperatures and damp environments and a variety of extreme conditions on the site including exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and hearing protection is required. The position regularly works near mechanical parts and in cold conditions that include humidity and exposure to dust.
Physical Demand:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position lifts heavy objects up to 50 lbs. walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts reach low and high pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand hand with arms and fingers two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina and vision.

This manufacturing position earns a competitive wage of $20.50 per hour for the 3rd shift.

This factory position is in Frankfort Indiana (1150 Vermont Street ) a short drive from Lafayette Indiana & Purdue University.
