Job Skills / Requirements
Sanitation Specialist
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed sanitation and upkeep of the facility ensuring all processing equipment is cleaned and sanitized to standards.
- Maintain facility and surrounding areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and recognized Food Safety Standards.
- Remove trash and product/soil; clean floors walls ceilings and other areas as assigned.
- Follow instructions from the Sanitation Supervisor and Leads.
- Safely use sanitation equipment tools and cleaning chemicals according to guidelines.
- Wear company-provided protective gear at all times.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of chemical usage proportions and safety regulations.
- Strong decision-making problem-solving and listening skills.
- Familiarity with sanitation tools equipment GMPs and Food Safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn adapt and follow safety procedures around moving machinery.
- Team-oriented with strong work ethic and flexibility.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Flexible schedule shifts may change per customer needs; weekends and overtime may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (garbage removal) and up to 70 lbs when using power hoses.
- Exposure to chemical cleaning solutions (chlorine acid detergents) while following all safety protocols.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks: standing walking stooping bending reaching crouching and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Work in a cold wet environment (approx. 34F).
