Job Description
Title: Assistant Opioid Response and Grants Coordinator
Salary Range: $55000 - $65000 annually
Location: Oklahoma City OK
The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Opioid Response and Grants Coordinator (Assistant) for our opioid abatement efforts through coordinated work with the Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Board (Board).
Position Summary:
Under general supervision the Assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the Opioid Response and Grants Coordinator with the administrative functions of the opioid abatement grant (Opioid Grant(s)) awarded by the Board.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with developing agendas and corresponding materials for Board meetings;
Attend and participate at Board meetings including coordinating and scheduling meetings in accordance with the Open Meeting Act;
Receive review and process requests from Grant applicants and recipients;
Respond to requests for information from interested parties;
Assist in preparation of special reports projects agency displays and exhibits including but not limited to updated status and progress reports of the Grants;
Support the review and evaluation of applications for Grant awards;
Support the OAG in monitoring and overseeing Grants including developing forms for the grantees required quarterly reports reviewing submitted reports and monitoring budgets and expenditures for compliance with statutory and settlement requirements;
Update and maintain current information on the opioid abatement web pages with support from Graphic Design and Communications teams;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Applicants must have grant administration experience; knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to prepare review and analyze financial reports. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of the State of Oklahomas financial computer systems government accounting procedures and those with prior advisory board experience.
