Our client in the service sector is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Chef to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in line with company standards.
- Plan and design menus that are seasonal cost-effective and aligned with client or guest preferences.
- Ensure consistent food quality portion control and timely service during all meal periods.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation cooking plating and hygiene practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering and proper storage of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Implement and enforce health safety and food hygiene standards in line with local regulations.
- Train mentor and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance and team morale.
- Manage kitchen budgets control food costs reduce waste and track expenditures.
- Liaise with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication and excellent guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure maintenance of kitchen equipment and workstations.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts Professional Cookery or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience with at least 2 years in a head chef or senior role.
- Food Safety and Hygiene Certification (mandatory).
- Experience in menu planning staff training and kitchen administration.
- Previous experience in hotels lodges camps or high-end restaurants is an added advantage.
