Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and career-driven Data Analyst to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency across our logistics operations. You must be proactive detail-oriented and passionate about data with the ability to communicate insights effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect clean and analyze data related to supply chain distribution warehousing and transportation operations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs (delivery performance costs inventory levels etc.).
- Identify trends anomalies and areas for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to develop data-driven solutions.
- Ensure all data is handled and stored in compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Monitor and track adherence to company policies standard operating procedures and timekeeping.
- Support implementation of new logistics systems and processes with data insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable format.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics Data Science Supply Chain Management Statistics Business Analytics or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a data analysis role preferably in the logistics supply chain or transport sector.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUPs macros data visualization etc.).
- Proficiency in data tools such as Power BI Tableau SQL or Python (added advantage).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to timekeeping integrity and adherence to company policies.
