Camp Manager Luxury Safari Camp Phalaborwa
Salary: R21000 R25000 (Negotiable DOE) Live-In Position
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Camp Manager to join a high-end safari camp located near Phalaborwa. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in Front of House (FOH) or previous camp management experience looking to advance their career in the luxury hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily camp operations ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments
Lead and support the FOH team maintaining exceptional guest experiences throughout the guest journey
Manage staff scheduling team motivation and performance reviews to ensure high service standards
Handle guest relations providing warm professional and attentive hosting
Maintain operational excellence in alignment with the camp s luxury standards
Coordinate with kitchen housekeeping maintenance and guiding teams to ensure seamless guest service
Assist with stock control ordering and administrative tasks related to camp management
Support the general manager in achieving both short- and long-term operational goals
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role either as a strong Front of House Manager or Camp Manager
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to team management
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
Proficient in hospitality-related systems and general administration
A passion for the safari and hospitality industry with a guest-centric mindset
Ability to work and live in a remote bush environment
