Job Overview:
The Operations and Logistics Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our distribution network ensuring that products are delivered accurately and efficiently. This role involves managing logistics optimizing supply chain processes and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management:
o Plan implement and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
o Coordinate with warehouse delivery sales and supply chain leaders to make sure timely and accurate deliveries are made meeting Nebraska Liquor Commission and Eagle standards.
o Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
2. Operations Oversight:
o Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
o Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
o Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards throughout the distribution process.
3. Team Leadership:
o Lead and mentor a team of logistics and operations staff including hiring training and performance management.
o Foster a positive and productive work environment promoting teamwork and professional growth.
4. Customer Relations:
o Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
o Address and resolve any logistical or operational challenges that arise providing timely solutions.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Utilize data analytics to monitor performance forecast demand and make informed decisions.
o Prepare and present regular reports on logistics and operations performance to senior management.
6. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate new strategies into operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree and/or equivalent training and work experience in Business operations
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations.
4 years ERP/Logistics systems experience
