Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Management:

o Accurately set up and maintain new customer accounts in the system.

o Enter update and maintain catalog information ensuring data is consistent and current.

o Regularly audit catalog data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Catalog Maintenance:

o Create update and manage product lists within the catalog including new item additions price updates and descriptions.

o Ensure catalog items meet company standards for formatting descriptions and data quality.

o Collaborate with product and sales teams to verify and update product information.

Reporting and Documentation:

o Generate reports and summaries as needed to support catalog and customer data requests.

o Document data entry processes catalog updates and customer setup guidelines.

Cross-Departmental Support:

o Work closely with sales purchasing and customer service teams to ensure that catalog data aligns with company needs and supports customer satisfaction.

o Assist with ad hoc data requests and projects related to catalog management.

Qualifications:

Experience:

o Previous experience in a data entry or catalog management role is preferred.

o Experience in inventory management retail or e-commerce environments is a plus.

Skills:

o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups sorting/filtering data validation).

o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

o Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy.

o Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members across departments.

Technical Proficiency:

o Familiarity with ERP CRM or catalog management systems is a plus.
