Responsibilities
The Head of Sports Performance hires and supervises assistant coaches oversees performance strength and conditioning plans evaluates student-athlete performance metrics manages program expenditures responsibly maintains relationships internally and externally and provides leadership in marketing fundraising and revenue generation efforts.
- Hires and supervises assistant coaches.
- Oversees performance strength and conditioning plans.
- Evaluates student-athlete performance and tracks performance metrics.
- Cultivates and maintains effective relations with students parents faculty staff media and friends of the University.
- Plays a leadership role in marketing fundraising and revenue generation for the program department and University.
- As a leader demonstrates a commitment to student success that is mission aligned with the universitys vision values and priorities. Establishes an ethical and collegial work environment promoting a collaborative accountable and inclusive team. Encourages a courageous and resilient solution-oriented environment by participating in new opportunities to further the mission of the university. Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated strength and conditioning coaching experience.
- NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification or Equivalent
- CPR/AED Certification

Pay Benefits & Work Schedule
- Salary is commensurate with knowledge skills and experience. The University offers excellent fringe benefits.
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $80000 - $87000 per year dependent upon qualifications and experience.
