Key Result Areas
Supporting Actions
Customs clearance.
- Clearing the goods from customs on priority to provide faster service to or
- Arrange the customs duty payment and provide the necessary document to CHA for clearance.
LC /BRO
- Arrange the BRO from bank for LC brand shipments
Import & Export documentation
- Prepare the Import BOE checklist and file with customs on time
- Verify and approve the BOE checklist
- Verify the commercial invoice and packing of the shipment
Shipment Pickup Planning
- Understanding Delivery/ Shipment Tracker
- Follow Up and Alignment for Shipment movement with Forwarder and CHA
- Evaluating Transit Times & cost
Co-ordination withCHA and domestic transporter
- Comparing quotations from different forwarders and choosing the right partner.
- Vendor performance evaluation
- Vendor Payment Reconciliation and Payout
- Understanding of protocols required for importing merchandise to India. (pre-alert docs. BOE requirements)
- Provide the E-waybill with CHA for shipment movement.
MIS Daily/weekly trackers and reports
- Prepare and share the Delivery tracker with team
- Maintain the shipment DSR
Co-ordination with Commercial team.
- Providing the DATA on time to cover forex payment to month on month.
Domestics Logistics
- Arrange the Store forward and reverse pickup
- Monitor and resolve the store pickup issues
- Monthly LSP bills reconciliation and payment submission
Vendor payment
- Check and Submit the all logistics vendor bills for payment
- Coordinate with finance for payment release
