Inventory/MRO Coordinator

Location: Muncie IN USA

The purpose of this position is to oversee all inventory related tasks for materials manufacturing and MRO. Oversee MRO and service activities.

Job Summary:

• Analyze all inventories for production and MRO perform actions necessary to keep inventory accurate and work closely with offsite warehouse to ensure plant needs are taken care of
• Supervise crib attendant and inventory duties
• Coordinate and prepare physical inventories for mass production and MRO P.I. analysis with countermeasures and report to all levels of management
• Monitor and recommend adjustments for Min/Max through usage
• Work with MRO Buyers and Engineering involving reorder approval or new items needed
• Create/maintain all inventory and MRO policies and procedures
• Oversee MRO and MP Inventory Cycle Counts
• Interface with Production Maintenance and Other Related Departments for Identification of New Parts
• Provide and ensure a safe work environment and communicate safety issues to HSE. Work with shipping and receiving warehouse to ensure 6S standards are maintained
• Perform Necessary Inventory Reports
• Coordinate Service Requirements and Activities w/Multiple Departments
• All Other Duties as Assigned.

• Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and technical terminology.
• Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines required; work independently.
• Improves manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives.
• Maintains knowledge of all processes procedures and equipment within functional area.
• Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the functional area. And facility.
