Job Description:
This positions primary focus will be our standards of engineering the management of state transportation assets and the efficient delivery of our capital to the Chief Engineer will be the Bureau of Project Development the Safety and Mobility Office and a new Asset Management Office consisting of asset management personnel. This position will oversee safety related initiatives cost effective and timely delivery of quality capital projects taming and engineering / technical standards specifications and policies. It will also seek to enhance coordination between safety and traffic engineering. This position is part of a 4 - person executive team and reports directly to the Commissioner of Transportation
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence ofthe following experience:
Licensed Maine Professional Engineer 15 Years of experience in professional engineering in the transportation industry and progressive management experience.
