Are you looking for a great opportunity to jumpstart your career expand your technical skills and learn more about the operation of U-Haul Join our experienced and dedicated Mainframe Development previous software developer experience is you can provide a hard-working nature enthusiasm and a willingness to learn we will provide the training.


Requirements:

  • Pass Critical Thinking Test with an acceptable score
  • Be willing to work after hours and weekends occasionally (after the 4 month trainee period)
  • Be willing to work remotely although exceptions are possible

Job Duties:

  • Attend training sessions complete training assignments.
  • Be willing to work individually and in team setting.
  • Learn how to enhance existing code develop new code and resolve issues (bugs) on the mainframe platform.
  • Acquire associated mainframe tools such as JCL (scripting language for mainframe) Control-M (job scheduling) and Control-D (report viewing).
  • Be an advocate for U-Hauls business teams (learn processes terminology and key contacts).
  • Periodically update Azure DevOps work items to facilitate project throughput and management.
