Job Duties:
As the HR Director you will:
Lead develop and mentor the HR team to deliver outstanding internal customer service.
Oversee all HR functions including recruitment employee relations classification and compensation performance management benefits administration and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning organizational development and employee engagement.
Ensure HR processes and policies are clear efficient and accessible to all employees.
Develop and implement training and professional development programs that empower staff and strengthen service delivery.
Handle sensitive personnel matters with integrity confidentiality and fairness.
Build strong partnerships with managers supervisors and external stakeholders to support agency goals.
Position-Specific Details:
This vacancy may be filled by new hire or by promotion of a current permanent status classified employee. A permanent status employee may be required to serve a new probationary period in lieu of promotion.
This position will be domiciled (where the position will report to work) in East Baton Rouge Parish.
