$30-31 hourly
Weekly Gross $1240

Type: Contract-to-Hire (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (08:30 AM 05:00 PM) Monday Friday

Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity in the Advanced Cardiac Support outpatient clinic located in Seattle WA. This is a local-only position for candidates residing within a 50-mile radius. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of MA experience preferably in cardiology but applicants from general/family practice backgrounds will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard clinical duties including vital signs 12-lead ECG and patient rooming
- Prepare exam rooms assist with patient positioning/draping and document histories medications and allergies
- Support cardiology providers with patient follow-ups and clinic procedures
- Process authorization forms refill requests and telephone triage within scope
- Ensure timely lab draws and coordination of results
- Float between clinics if required based on skillset
- Maintain adequate supplies and stock exam rooms
Key Requirements:
- Washington MA-C License is REQUIRED at the time of submission
- BLS Certification required
- Must be local to Seattle WA (within 50-mile radius); no stipends offered
- Candidate must have reliable personal transportation (public transit not allowed)
- Travel pairs must each have their own vehicle
- Cardiology experience preferred; general/family practice considered
- Must be open to floating between clinics if needed
- First-time travelers accepted
- No weekends no on-call
- Guaranteed hours: facility may cancel up to 1 shift per pay period (biweekly)
- All RTO must be presented at time of submission
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of Medical Assistant experience required
- Cardiology or primary care experience preferred
License & Certifications:
- Washington State MA-C License Required
- BLS Certification Required
Skills:
- Clinical Skills: Vital signs 12-lead ECG pulse oximetry height/weight blood pressure
- Administrative: Chart preparation patient follow-ups phone triage authorization processing refill requests
- Specialties: Cardiology Family Practice
- Professional Knowledge: Patient education history taking allergy/medication recording
- Work Settings: Adult and pediatric outpatient clinics private physician offices
