Job Description
We have an Immediate opening for a full-time Director of construction services for one of our prestiges clients. Our future Director will oversee and manage our projects while mentoring and growing our team of NICET certified construction Management/inspection professionals.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is looking for a leadership position with a growing company. Additionally there is an opportunity to become an Associate and Shareholder with the Firm. The candidate will be providing construction management inspection and Primavera scheduling to NJDOT NJTA SJTA Client Port Authority of NY & NJ Private Agencies NJ Counties and Municipalities
Qualifications needed:
- Bachelors degree in engineering with PE License in New Jersey or NICET in Highway Construction Level IV.
- Surface transportation (infrastructure) Agency experience i.e. NJDOT NJTA SJTA NJT Counties and Municipalities.
- Successful track record of bringing in new work and qualified personnel from proposal development and business development strategies.
- Ability to manage and oversee Agency-led construction projects for the clientele above.
- Experience with quality assurance/quality control contract negotiations cost control and construction administration.
- Strong embedded relationships with the transportation engineering community.
- Experience of operating in a Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer capacity if needed.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
