Job Description
Job Title:Fund Accountant
Location:Arlington VA
About the Role:
Cordia by Cherry Bekaert is seeking a detail-orientedFund Accountantto join our clients team in Arlington VA. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong accounting foundation and experience in fund operations looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cash reconciliations and resolve fund-related expenses for assigned funds.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
- Reconcile accounting data received from third-party administrators.
- Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) packages for approval.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory filings including Form PF and AIFMD.
- Conduct investor capital roll-forward analytics.
- Support performance reporting and respond to investor inquiries.
- Assist with audit and tax reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party administrators to support reporting and operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
- Prior experience in a similar fund accounting environment (required).
- CPA certification or CPA track (preferred).
- Public accounting experience (preferred).
