Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Accountant you will play a key role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients leveraging your expertise in platforms such as Microsoft GP QuickBooks Online Xero and other similar software.
Responsibilities:
Manage and reconcile client accounts using Microsoft GP QuickBooks Online Xero and other accounting software platforms.
Prepare financial statements reports and tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist clients with financial planning budgeting and forecasting.
Collaborate with team members and clients to address accounting-related inquiries and issues.
Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Proven experience working with QuickBooks Online Xero and other similar accounting software platforms.
Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Must be available to work the night shift.
Availability to start immediately is a plus.
