Position Summary

The Vending & Consignment Program Lead manages Balluffs regional customer consignment and vending programs ensuring timely refills inventory accuracy and a high level of customer service. This role serves as the key point of contact for customers and internal teams and oversees day-to-day logistics troubleshooting and performance reporting for consignment and vending operations. Its a hands-on customer-facing role that requires strong coordination follow-through and technical aptitude.

What Youll Do

  • Manage consignment agreements and coordinate implementation with Sales
  • Refill vending and consignment inventory per customer delivery schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and address discrepancies or equipment issues
  • Track report and present KPIs for program effectiveness
  • Prepare and deploy materials (posters labels cards) to customer sites
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to vending and consignment
  • Troubleshoot vending equipment issues and support remote service staff
  • Maintain system data for vending programs (pricing users materials)
  • Assist with order processing invoicing returns and special pricing documentation
  • Record program activity in Balluff CRM system
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance program success
  • This position may assume supervisory responsibility for additional vending support staff or temporary personnel as the program expands

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Occasional overnight travel (24 nights/month)
  • Regular visits to manufacturing and industrial customer sites
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and operate a box-type delivery vehicle
  • Frequent use of a computer and business systems in an office environment

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Associates degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • 12 years in logistics inventory field service or related roles
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; SAP CRM or Adobe experience a plus
  • Must have a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must be based in or able to reliably commute to Troy Michigan.
