JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Concession Stand Manager (FALL ONLY)
Reports to: Director of Operations and Nutritional Services Director
Description: To oversee the Louisville High School stadium concession stand
NOTE: The below lists are not ranked in order of importance
Essential Functions:
- To oversee and assist in the preparation/serving/clean-up of each home varsity game including home playoff games.
- To oversee that the stadium concession stand is ready for use the day of an eventfood is accounted for and ready all supplies are at the stadium and iPads charged and ready for use as registers.
- Knowledge of register system and banking deposits.
- To maintain weekly records balance weekly deposits and perform inventory reports.
- Itemize inventory of food on a weekly basis during the sports seasons that are held at the stadium and share with Director of Operations and Nutritional Services director.
- Enforce health department regulations and those directed by administrative and Board Policy.
- To maintain weekly logs for the Health Department.
- To keep director of operations fully informed on personnel issues.
- Place all food produce and supply orders needed through the Nutritional Services Director.
- Schedule and plan in advance foods that need to be defrosted.
- Assemble for food transfer from a building to the stadium if needed through the director of operations.
- Maintain orderly and clean work areas.
- Prepare and serve food in an attractive manner.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe rules of cleanliness dress and grooming.
- Unlock and prepare concession stand for weekly routine.
- Assist with all preparation for concession foods.
- Introduce and instruct concession workers.
- Oversee and assist in serving at the concession stand.
- Handles the direction and assist in the clean-up of the concession stand.
- Works with maintenance and daily delivery personnel.
- Maintains proper care of stock in refrigerators freezers and stockroom.
- Works with and oversees parents and student helpers during an event.
- Works with the director of operations / food service director for the overall operation of the concession stand.
- Promotes safe practices concerning the concession stand in food preparation and handling and equipment usage.
- Performs sanitation of the entire concession stand operation so as to avoid any possible harm to all concession stand customers and to successfully pass all inspections by local state and federal authorities.
- To recruit two grill chefs for each home varsity football game and including any home playoff games.
- Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Ohio drivers license
- Serve Safe training or will complete
- Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Equipment Operated:
- Working knowledge of concession stand equipment
- iPads
- Gas Grills
Additional Working Conditions:
- Occasional exposure to blood bodily fluids and tissue
- Occasional requirement to travel i.e. to pick up food or materials
- Frequent requirement to stand walk talk hear see (color vision required) read speak reach stretch with hands and arms
- Frequent requirement to lift carry push and pull up to a maximum of 50 pounds
- Occasional requirement to push and pull up to a maximum of 300 pounds (on wheels)
- Frequent excessive standing during assigned time
- Frequent repetitive hand motions e.g. operating cash register
- Occasional requirement to climb balance stoop kneel and crouch
- Complies with all Louisville Board of Education policies and procedures
Required Experience:
Manager
