Sterile Processing Tech (Permanent Role) Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 8 HR Nights 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions of the Role: - Prepare and organize rooms instruments equipment treatment trays and supplies based on department needs.
- Clean medical instruments and equipment using approved detergents and disinfectants.
- Operate sterilization equipment in compliance with established guidelines.
- Manage inventory: order restock and distribute instruments and supplies for general and surgical use.
- Adhere to safety protocols environmental standards and infection control procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Provide in-service training and mentorship to Sterile Processing staff including support and guidance for entry-level employees.
Key Success Factors: - Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment handling.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in patient and team interactions.

Qualifications: Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Certification (One Required):
- Certified Board Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD)
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
