Job Description
Location: McKinney TX 75071
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures per exam protocol.
- Follow safety standards and procedures to protect patients staff and self.
- Use AIDET communication to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Explain procedures to patients and assess their ability to tolerate exams.
- Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and work areas.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and accurate maintenance of imaging records.
- Assist with inventory and report any supply or equipment issues.
- Adhere to infection control drug and radiation policies and protocols.
- Demonstrate proper sterile techniques during invasive procedures.
- Skilled in performing multimodality imaging without routine oversight.
- Ability to clearly explain procedures and ease patient concerns.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to stay composed and professional under stress.
- Proficient in emergency response and basic first aid.
- Committed to continuous education and skill development.
- Comfortable working with diverse age groups: newborn to geriatric.
- Dedicated to improving patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted.
Certifications/Licensure:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 30 days of hire.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Licensed by the Texas State.
- Must hold certification in two imaging modalities by:
- ARRT (CT MR M R S VI etc.)
- ARMRIT CNMT or RDMS (as applicable)
- ARRT-R (Radiography)
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
- ARRT-MR (MRI)
- ARRT-M (Mammography)
- ARRT-S (Sonography)
- ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiology)
- RDMS-AB RDMS-OB RDMS-BR RDMS-FE RDMS-PS
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
- CNMT (Nuclear Medicine)
