Job Description
Respiratory Therapist Ortho (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures per physician orders.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care treatments and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and assist in code situations requiring respiratory intervention.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital experience.
- License/Certification:
- RRT or CRT Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
- State of Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License Required and must be in good standing.
