Logistics Operations Team Lead EMEA Region

Are you a logistics professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence FMC is looking for aLogistics Operations Team Leadto oversee daily freight operations and guide a team of logistics specialists. In this role youll ensure the smooth execution of road sea and air shipments while driving process improvements and fostering a high-performance team culture.
What Youll Do
Lead the Team:Manage and mentor a team of 79 logistics professionals supporting their development and ensuring high-quality performance.
Oversee Shipments:Ensure timely and compliant execution of all transport modesroad sea and airfrom dispatch to delivery.
Drive Operational Excellence:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve service levels.
Resolve Complex Issues:Act as the escalation point for logistics challenges including customs delays carrier issues and shipment discrepancies.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:Coordinate with internal teams (Sales Customer Service Planning) and external partners (carriers warehouses freight forwarders).
Monitor Performance:Track logistics KPIs analyze trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure Compliance:Uphold all relevant shipping regulations and internal policies proactively managing risks across the logistics chain.
What You Bring
Proven experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
Leadership experience managing a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of international transport regulations and international trade in a B2B multinational company.
Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge of SAP S4 (S&D module) and MS office Pack (Excel).
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business or a related field (preferred).
