Job Description
Position: Restaurant Sales
Our client is a reputable importer processor and distributor of Frozen Seafood particularly specializing in a Sushi program. They are currently seeking a dedicated Restaurant Sales professional who can help drive their business forward. This role will focus on direct sales to Asian Restaurants and Retail Grocery stores particularly for prepared and sushi-specific seafood.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Sales to Asian Restaurants Retail Grocery specifically for prepared and Sushi-specific Seafood
- Generate and maintain contacts for leads in the PNW ideally Western WA but also including West Coast Asian Retail & Restaurant
- Consult advise and learn customers / prospects preferences for sushi preparation and provide detailed instructions to operations/production
- Identify opportunities for wholesale seafood on the West Coast following the exit of two major players from the market
- Work closely with the regions top chefs understanding their expectations and requirements
- Conduct solid communication and presentation to existing accounts and new prospects within their territory
- Relay customer needs and opportunities seafood trends and updates to management
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fresh and frozen seafood Sushi Products shellfish crustaceans as well as accompanying dry jarred and packaged goods
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent service skills
- Ambition to succeed in the seafood industry
- 2 years of sales experience
