The Operations Manager role is an integral member of the team. Within our group the team includes other functional roles that provides a career path for the right candidate.
The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is leading a multi-functional team that includes Budget Management Accounting Post Issue Processing Call Center and Claims. The right candidate will be a self-starter with previous Leadership experience and a high level knowledge of Group Life Insurance products. They aspire to be a Subject Matter Expert on our processes and procedures and using multiple systems to manage the timeliness and quality of day to day processes.
Location for this position is Infosys McCamish Des Moines IA
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
At least 3-5 years of Group Life Insurance experience.
Previous Leadership experience leading day to day operations with multiple direct reports
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Overseeing financial budgets and expenditures related to group insurance operations.
Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company standards
Create a culture of accountability towards positive business and customer experience outcomes.
Excellent organizational and follow through skills
Leading motivating and developing team members to achieve departmental goals
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
Own relationship with the client for all operations
Qualifications: Basic: Minimum of a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 8 years of experience related to the job description.
Preferred
At least 3-5 years of experience in BPO Group Leadership managing associates in multiple locations
Excellent oral and written skills communication skills including the ability to write and document standard operating procedures
