JOB TITLE: Sales Engineer/ Senior Sales Engineer – Gears and Gear Boxes
BUSINESS: Eppinger Tooling Asia Private Limited
LOCATION: Pune India
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer / senior sales engineer
with expertise in precision gearboxes to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will
have a strong technical background and a proven track record in sales focusing on gearboxes
and related products.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales: Generating inquiry for the company's products (Gearboxes and gear)
and building product and brand awareness within the region. promote and sell gearbox &
gear to new and existing customers. Understand customer needs and provide tailored
solutions.
Selection and appointment of appropriate dealers and stockiest and implementing
Dealer/reseller policies.
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for designated regions sales planning
payment follow-up payment recovery post-sales support.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key
clients providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of gearbox technology applications and
competitive landscape. Use this expertise to educate clients and provide effective
solutions.
Sales Strategy: Identify new market opportunities develop new sales and achieve sales
target in assigned territory.
Proposal and Quotation Preparation: Prepare detailed technical proposals quotations
and presentations for clients. Ensure accuracy and competitiveness of all offers
including feasibility studies
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
industry trends and competitive products.
Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support including product
demonstrations application advice and troubleshooting.
Training and Development: Stay updated on industry advancements and product
developments. Share knowledge with team members and participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales preferably with a focus
on cycloidal gearboxes
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of gearbox technology mechanical systems and
application requirements.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to close deals manage accounts and meet sales targets.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey
complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP Systems and sales tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to gearboxes and
motion control systems.
