PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join a leading commercial insurance team. This role focuses on driving new business growth and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering tailored insurance solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through consultative advice
- Identify and convert new business opportunities via networking and referrals
- Manage renewals ensuring policies meet evolving client needs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records
- Support colleagues and contribute to team success
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments
DAY-TO-DAY
- Engage with clients to assess needs and provide bespoke insurance solutions
- Develop and manage a robust new business pipeline
- Oversee timely renewals and client communications
- Collaborate with internal teams and support marketing efforts
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory and market changes
EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Proven experience as an Account Executive in commercial insurance
- Strong knowledge of insurance products underwriting and compliance
- Track record of successful new business generation and client retention
- Proficiency with insurance platforms and client management systems
Desirable
- ACII qualification or willingness to pursue (business supported)
- Experience with Acturis or similar systems
