Job Description
You Will
- Lead support and expand a team of engineers focused on the design and development of creator programming languages compilers runtime tools and models.
- Mentor engineers and team leads to ensure the continuous growth of your teams expertise.
- Collaborate with product partners to define the roadmap and spearhead project execution.
- Work alongside other engineering teams product managers and designers to enhance existing functionalities and develop new ones improving pipelines and workflows.
- Uphold our company vision by putting the Roblox community first and exemplifying our values through thought leadership.
You Have
- Over 5 years of management experience with a proven track record of hiring and nurturing a high-performing engineering team.
- The ability to read (and write if needed) C code. We expect leaders to be very technical.
- Extensive experience in compilers programming language tools or similar technologies.
- Curiosity and are a self-motivated learner. Able to develop new leadership skills or learn new technologies quickly
- A clear vision and robust execution skills to address immediate tactical issues and manage diverse feature requests maintaining a balance between short-term needs and long-term objectives.
