Deputy Pathology Manager
Brighton Hospital Permanent Full Time
Salary up to 48500.00 per annum (depending on experience)
37.5 hours per week

Were looking for a confident and motivated healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in pathology to join us as Deputy Pathology Manager at our Brighton Hospital. You will be a collaborative detail-oriented individual who thrives in a regulated environment and brings positivity and professionalism to a high-performing team.
As our Deputy Pathology Manager you will:
Supervise and support pathology staff in the day-to-day operation of the department
Lead on work scheduling rotas and workforce planning
Contribute to recruitment performance reviews appraisals and absence management
Support and oversee training development and mentoring of the team
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations quality standards and audit frameworks
Attend key management meetings including the Integrated Governance Committee
Hold a current HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council) essential for this role

Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy health screening diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road including free parking
