Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning coordination and execution of a large-scale data center project. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed on time within budget and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Support:
1. Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans schedules and budgets for data center projects.
2. Track project milestones deliverables and critical path activities to ensure timely completion.
3. Coordinate with vendors contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Prepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports meeting minutes and risk registers.
Construction & Technical Oversight:
1. Support the review of design drawings specifications and construction documents for data center infrastructure.
2. Assist in monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with design standards codes and safety regulations.
3. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and progress.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
1. Facilitate communication between project teams clients and third-party vendors.
2. Help resolve project-related issues and escalate critical concerns to the Project Manager as needed.
Budget & Resource Management:
1. Assist in tracking project expenditures and ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
2. Support procurement processes including vendor evaluations and contract management.
3. Help manage resource allocation (labor materials equipment) to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Project Management or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience in project management construction management or data center infrastructure projects.
3. Familiarity with data center systems (power distribution cooling networking security) is a plus.
4. Strong organizational communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
