Job Description
Restocker
Summary of position:
The Restocker is responsible for completing all restocking tasks in accordance with established procedures ensuring efficient inventory management and optimal order fulfillment for Brand Additions customers.
Responsibilities:
- Restock program aisles with inventory from bulk storage locations
- Analyze warehouse management system (WMS) data to re-profile product locations and optimize order fill rates
- Set and maintain product bin minimums maximums restocking quantities and active bin locations
- Perform stock movements in the WMS accurately and timely
- Investigate and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies (overages/shortages)
- Support the setup of inventory for new customer programs
- Process inventory write-offs and product disposals
- Ensure bin boxes are kept clean organized and properly labeled
- Reprint case and location labels as needed
- Operate forklifts or Wave machines to pull items from bulk areas (certification preferred willing to certify)
- Participate in weekly department meetings
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and aisle setups
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support departmental and company goals
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Moderate math skills and strong attention to detail
- Quality-focused with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Prior inventory management experience required
- Experience in the distribution industry preferred
- Familiarity with JDA Direct Commerce is a plus
- Prior restocking experience highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable with the physical demands associated with restocking and inventory management
Schedule: 7am- 3:30pm after successfully completing training period.
