Assistant Site Superintendent Residential Mid-Rise
Location: Kingston ON
Salary: $100000/year
Our client a well-capitalized residential developer-builder with several active and upcoming projects in the Kingston area is seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent to join their team. The successful candidate will support the Senior Site Superintendent on large-scale multi-phase residential developments.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a long-term role with growth potential as the company continues to build out its project pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Superintendent with daily site operations and coordination
Help manage trades site staff and subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity
Participate in daily site meetings and contribute to short-interval scheduling
Monitor compliance with project specifications drawings safety regulations and building codes
Track site progress identify potential issues and help keep the project on schedule
Support quality control and deficiency management efforts
Qualifications:
35 years of experience in residential construction preferably on mid-rise or high-rise projects
Ability to read and interpret drawings schedules and specifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with site safety practices and OHSA compliance
Proficiency with basic construction management software considered an asset
