Job Description

Administrative Assistant

Location: Atlanta GA

Contract- 1 Year

Client- Georgia Power

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with a strong background in Oracle and Maximo systems to provide high-level administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires discretion initiative and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage calendars schedules and appointments for team members ensuring optimal time management and task prioritization

  • Coordinate meetings events and conferences including logistics agendas and post-meeting follow-ups

  • Prepare and edit professional documents presentations reports and correspondence

  • Conduct data gathering and research to support strategic planning and operational decisions

  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion and integrity

  • Assist in budget tracking expense reporting and financial documentation in alignment with company policies

  • Serve as a liaison and point of contact for internal departments and external stakeholders

  • Provide system support using Oracle and Maximo for project and operational data management

  • Maintain organized records files and administrative databases for team use

Required Qualifications:
  • 6 10 years of administrative experience preferably in utilities engineering or industrial environments

  • Proficient with Oracle and Maximo systems (required)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
