Job Description:
Product Sourcing
- Lead the end-to-end sourcing activities for products in womens wear & Mens Wear
- Manage and ensure adherence to the business process calendar (time and action plan)
- Share ideas and inputs with the design team on design and styling aspects of products
- Undertake market research to identify new opportunities and trends to drive innovation lower costs and increase profit
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders in defining the target sourcing price and manage the sourcing to meet the target price
- Drive migration to the FOB model
Vendor Partner Management
- Identify assess negotiate and finalize vendor partners in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
- Drive the process of vendor partner consolidation to create operational advantage
Product Delivery
- Manage and ensure delivery of product to the warehouse as per defined timelines
- Manage and ensure delivery of salesman samples/Photo Shoot Samples as per defined timelines (from sampling units)
Quality Management
- Review and ensure that the proto samples meet the required specifications
- Quality check and audit of the final product.
Inventory Management
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders in driving efficiencies in inventory across all segments
Product upgradation
- Provide inputs on product reengineering innovation and product quality to enable product value creation
