Job Title: Bookkeeper / Client Account Manager
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 3000 USD
Work Schedule: Full-time flexible hours with required availability during core collaboration hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (EST) Monday to Friday

Position Overview:
Were looking for a highly organized and relationship-oriented Bookkeeper / Client Account Manager to take ownership of a personal portfolio of 10-12 small-business clients. This role includes full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities and all client-facing communication including emails check-ins and vendor coordination. Youll work independently backed by a collaborative and supportive team that values clear communication client care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients including:
>> Bank reconciliations
>> Transaction categorization
>> Journal entries
>> Accounts Receivable and Payable
>> Payroll - Maintain ongoing communication with clients via email phone and Google Meet.
- Collaborate with clients teams and vendors to resolve bookkeeping queries.
- Organize and update financial data in QuickBooks Online.
- Work independently while keeping managers informed of any uncertainties; no question is too small.
- Support internal improvements to systems and workflows as needed.
Qualifications:
- Friendly positive personality with a high degree of professionalism.
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
- Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency.
- Comfortable with client calls vendor coordination and independent account ownership.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail Sheets Drive).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Reliable self-directed and service-oriented.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High sensitivity to handling confidential financial data.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts.
- Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to learn and build systems independently.
- Experience working with US-based clients or small businesses.
