Infrastructure Equity Associate
This is a great job for someone with a strong academic background with experience in infrastructure or energy project finance or M&A experience which will likely have been gained at a leading investment bank or boutique advisor.
A bit about the job:
As a key member of the Infrastructure Equity team youll be hands-on across the full investment lifecyclefrom sourcing and executing transactions to managing portfolio companies and supporting exits. Youll collaborate with senior colleagues and advisors to assess new opportunities build and challenge financial models run valuations and sensitivities and lead on due diligence workstreams. Youll also help craft compelling investment papers for committee approval.
Beyond transactions youll play a proactive role in market and sector analysis to identify new opportunities drafting insightful industry papers and supporting origination efforts. On the asset management side youll work closely with portfolio companies on business planning budgeting board materials capex reviews value creation and refinancing strategies. In time you will take seats on portfolio company boards deepening your influence and exposure.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with sharp commercial acumen and advanced financial modelling expertise. Strong track record in valuation and financial analysis.
Proven experience working on live deals with deep knowledge of European infrastructure and/or energy transition sectors. Skilled at quickly grasping business models market dynamics value drivers and risk factors.
Adept at navigating complex data and information during due diligence with meticulous attention to detail.
Thoughtful and thorough with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a reputation for precision.
Fluency in a second European language is a plus.
