Under the general supervision of the Senior Officer Corporate Affairs and Engagement at St. Boniface Hospital and the Director of Communications and Stewardship at St. Boniface Hospital Foundation the COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR serves both the hospital and its foundation by providing support in the development and delivery of communications products and strategies to support the operations and strategic directions of the organizations as well as informing and engaging St. Boniface Hospital staff and the public. Duties include writing editing filming photographing designing and/or producing communications material including website and intranet content social media content posters speaking notes staff memos annual report newsletters and other communications as required. The position also provides support to staff throughout the hospital to ensure that communication materials meet hospital standards and branding guidelines; produces cases for support and proposals for fundraising initiatives as required; produces a variety of donor impact reports for supporters of St. Boniface Hospital Foundation including annual endowment reports sponsor fulfillment reports and custom reports for major donors and projects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience as deemed recognized by the Hospital may be considered in lieu of the above.
