What to Expect
This position reports directly to the Manager of Training and Development and is responsible for coordinating and leading the monthly operational training class assisting the Operations Department with information pertaining to current and future franchisees supporting customer service initiatives eLearning and continuing education as well as corporate store/training activities.
On a daily basis our Training Specialist:
Assist in the coordination of retail store and pool service-related operational training for franchises and associates.
Technical and mechanical ability necessary for the pool industry technical prowess in the categories of pumps filters salt systems automation and pool heating.
Assist with the production of the companys instructional videos tools etc.
Advise stores regularly of all upcoming internal and external educational opportunities.
Course creation and eLearning techniques.
Articulate SCORM and Moodle to manage eLearning programs.
Proficient in all POS systems confidential operation manual MS Office and Windows suite.
Interact regularly with vendors and store owners
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
Five years of retail and customer service experience.
Relevant training and/or public speaking experience.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to create and present across various platforms.
Valid Drivers license.
Lift up to 75 Ibs and sit/stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time.
Pool Industry knowledge is recommended but not required.
Ability to travel up to 10% of working days per year
