Job Description
House Manager Acute Adolescent
- Salary Range:$35.00 - $42.00 per hour based on relevant years of experience
- Location: Fort Collins Colorado at our Longview campus
- Status:Full-time 40 hours per week
- Hours: 4 10-hour shifts Sunday through Wednesday 10:30am to 9:00pm
Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential. Shift differentials are also available for evenings nights weekends and holidays.
Role Overview:
This position works out of our Acute Care facility managing day-to-day operations of our 8-bed Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit.This position manages the ongoing bed utilization and appropriate placement of patients onto the adolescent unit as well as helping to coordinate transitions of care for adolescents from crisis care to community-based and/or outpatient care services.
Essential Duties:
- Provides on-site oversight and leadership of 8-bed adolescent crisis unit.
- Facilitates the planning organizing and coordinating activities related to admissions/discharges on the unit.
- Provides oversight on-unit building and delivering programming alongside clinical/medical teams as needed.
- Manages staff schedules ensuring program service delivery across disciplines.
- Facilitates daily rounds and/or shift change huddles on unit with inter-disciplinary care team.
- Optimizes bed utilization alongside other unit House Managers across the acute care facility.
- Ensures the unit is fully staffed and operational delivering consistent care that meets SHPs quality of care standards.
- Serves as the point person for all external referrals and/or partners related to adolescent crisis care.
Required:
- Masters (MA) Degree in counseling psychology social work education nursing special education psychology or related field from accredited College or University required.Prior experience leading teams/programs is required
- More than three years of experience in a supervisory role required
Highly Desired:
- Experience providing services to adolescents (ages 12-17) preferred
- Current Colorado professional license in appropriate discipline (LPC RN LCSW Special Ed Psy. D etc.) preferred
- LAC preferred
- Experience working in crisis care and/or inpatient care settings preferred
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred

This position is subject to a mandatory backgroundcheck through the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) TRAILS databasewhich reviews for any substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect.
This requirement applies to all staff working at ourLongview campus regardless of direct contact with adolescents due to the factthat the facility provides adolescent treatment services. As such completionof this background check is required for employment at this location.
