The role
As Supervisor Open Spaces youll lead a small team in keeping some of Sydneys most iconic open spaces safe healthy and looking their best. From the Domains sports fields to high-profile turf and arboriculture areas youll manage day-to-day operations coordinate contractors and ensure our landscapes are ready for everything from daily visitors to major events. Its a hands-on leadership role where your ability to juggle priorities keep people motivated and make smart decisions will really count.
Youll work closely with your team and stakeholders to maintain high standards across arboriculture turf and landscape works while balancing the challenges of heritage considerations changing work methods and tight budgets. Whether its implementing maintenance programs managing procurement and reporting or responding to unexpected issues youll be the go-to person making it all happen on the ground.
